About Biswabina Foundation

The “Biswabina Foundation” started its journey officially on 7th April, 2014 when it got registered as a Public Charitable Trust at the office of Additional Registrar of Assurance-III, Kolkata, West Bengal. Its genesis, however, has been resulted from the noble thought nurtured by its President, Dr. Rina Pal and a few other founding Trustee Members for a couple of years. The Foundation, a voluntary organization cherishes an aspiration to provide the deprived persons with better life by extending hands of help in terms of financial support. The Trustee Members of the Foundation are committed to contribute towards better education, healthcare and social infrastructure for the underprivileged section of society, which requires to be nurtured for acquiring its potentiality. The Foundation has taken a pledge to nourish the bliss of morality and touch of humanity through its initiatives and activities in a society, which is gradually trailing in showing empathy towards disadvantaged ones. The Trustees crave for upholding the ignored cause of these needy people and sustaining their endeavours towards betterment of life, wherever possible. The name of the Foundation “Biswabina” itself underlines motto of reaching out the known boundary with untiring strumming of the Bina to embrace the world and thereby bestow on it the long awaited serenity.

The thrust area of the current activities of the Foundation is forwarding financial support to the poor but meritorious students of higher education. It also contributes to benefit the poor, aged and weak persons with basic requirements like clothes and food.

AIMS

• To extend financial help to the poor, deserving and needy children and students for their education at lower and higher levels, irrespective of their caste, creed, sex, religion and such other ethnic and racial differences, wherever they are situated.

• To distribute articles such as clothes and food items to the poor and needy, organize free medical camps, health check-up camps, vaccination camps for poor children, women and aged persons with the help of professional medical experts and grant aid for poor and needy people or arrange for their treatment and operations.
